Gewürztraminer

Gewürztraminer for us has been a road full of discovery, where initially as all winemakers do, we started with a preconceived idea of the style that we wanted to make. For us this was a dry style. Over time the vineyard has taught us that the fruit from this site is better suited to a late harvest style. By leaving the fruit on the vine until late in the season we achieve an intense flavour ripeness that is so essential for this grape variety and wine style.
