Pinot Gris

A relative new comer to the New Zealand winemaking scene, Pinot Gris can be an exciting variety to work with. We are still in the early stages of experimenting with this variety, but have found that it grows very well in the Marlborough climate producing intense ripe pear aromas, perhaps with a hint of flintyness.

At Fromm we stylistically work to produce a Pinot Gris that shows distinct varietal aromas supported by palate weight and richness.
